Member Spotlight.
Port & Vine

Port & Vine is turning the page with Port Adelaide, as the precinct continues to evolve into one of Australia’s most sought-after inner-city port destinations.

Owned by Adam Vonthethoff and Samantha Hirniak, the venue brings together a shared passion for hospitality and local connection. They’ve partnered with seasoned publican and long-time friend Darren Pearce to breathe new life into the former First Commercial, ushering in the next chapter of its rich history.

Port & Vine features two menus—one offering the nostalgic classics you’d expect, and the other showcasing a curated selection of charcuterie, cheeses, and chef’s favourite shared plates. Designed for relaxed, social dining, the menu caters to locals and visitors alike.

The venue’s walk-in wine list encourages guests to explore at their own pace, whether enjoying a bottle on-site or taking one home. A daily rotating list of wines by the glass keeps the experience fresh, offering something new with every visit.

The reimagined Sports Bar delivers wall-to-wall coverage of sporting events every day, with TAB facilities for horse and sports punters—and yes, there’s Keno too.

A permanent outdoor dining space, The Cabin, is currently under construction. In the meantime, a cosy igloo-style marquee provides warmth and shelter so guests can enjoy wine and nibbles even on cooler days.

Port & Vine looks forward to welcoming the local community—and raising a glass with familiar faces and new friends alike.
