In 2 sentences, what do you do and what inspired you to start?

I co-manage Viking Yacht Charters, a family-owned boat hire business catering for exclusive and fully hosted boat parties and cruises.

Wanting to share our passion and love of the ocean with others inspired us to start the business over 20 years ago

What motivated you to join the Board and support the North West business community?

Understanding the need for and importance of local businesses collaborating for the benefit of the area and the promotion of using local businesses

What is one thing you think makes North West region the best place to do business?

Being a water orientated business, the magnificent and protected waterways of the Port River and the pristine local beaches are a huge advantage.

If you could magically gain one new business skill overnight, what would it be and why?

Better understanding of, and the use of social media to promote our business

What’s a hobby or skill you have that your business colleauges might be surprised to learn about?

A past hobby was racing a speed car at Speedway Park.
