Meet the Board: Urszula Richards

In two sentences, what do you do and what inspired you to start?

I'm an AI educator, strategist and coach through my business, OnlineIQ. After selling my web development business, I moved into AI because I find it fascinating and I want to be part of the good side of AI.

Why NWBA? What motivated you to join the Board and support the North West business community?

I'm local, and after selling my business I had some extra time. Carol Crossley, who was Chair at the time, invited me to join because she felt my marketing experience would be of value. Since joining in April 2025, I've looked after systems support and marketing, and I've managed the redevelopment of the NWBA website - a natural fit given my web development background.

What are you working on for NWBA right now?

I'm working with our developer to make member-to-member offers more prominent on the website, so people can easily see the value of connecting and doing business with each other.

When you aren't working or volunteering with the NWBA, where are we most likely to find you?

Running a community of practice for people who are learning to become AI coaches, which I'm really enjoying. Community building for business people is one of my passions.
